When we bought our house in December, we were only given one key and my daughter lost the only key to our mail boss mailbox. How do I get replacement keys for it. Is there a number on the lock or on the box somewhere. Please let me know.

For replacement keys, you let people know where they can go local to get one. You named Scott McClenden Ace Hardware store in Port Orchard, Washington. They don’t do your keys

I am a home owner with tenants, I want my own mailbox because of missing letters. Will my tenants be able to guess and order a set of keys since you show people how to order your keys.

Hi AD, so it is very unlikely someone will be able to “guess” your key number. We have over 1500 unique keyways. The key number is engraved onto the side of each key – NOT on the lock face like many other “secure” locking mailboxes. If you want to prevent tenants from ordering keys, you could simply scratch off the key number engraving using a Dremel or piece of sandpaper.

The plastic cover on the key fell off and I’m not able to determine if key was imprinted with “Mail boss”. How do we proceed with additional key orders?

    Thank you

Assuming it is a ’round style key’ – please send us a picture to info@mailboss.com and we will do our best to advise.
